Frustration

Life is daily presenting us with challenges that seem to be too much to execute or embrace. Whether of single or married status, the day appears to lack sufficient hours for our NEED TO DO list. We end each day thinking about completing an assignment, fulfilling a goal, sorting out funds or improving our time management. Sadly, our day usually ends with outstanding items on our NEED TO DO list. After a while we begin to feel pressured because now assignments are accummulating and our time within each day remains the same. Eventually we experience brain fog, there is just too much to think about and we end up losing our focus. Emotionally we are overwhelmed and next in line is our frustration.

We are not allowed to omit our responsibilities as mothers, the home and children must be properly cared for and executed daily. We must continue to go to work and if we work from home, there is more pressure because two jobs are being executed simultaneously. For men, it is hard labor in the sun or dealing daily with an excessive work load indoors. In any event, men must hold it down and perform at their best to secure their jobs. Whether married or not, he must maintain himself and contribute towards the welfare of the person he is dating.

If children are involved, they come home from a long day at school being picked on at times by their teachers, bullied by schoolmates and experiencing peer pressure to fit in. Mom, dad and children coming home after a long day of trying to cope with this thing called life, and nobody feels like their doing a great job. There is insufficient funds for expenses and general care, not enough time to complete or execute reponsibilities, and either of them can break at any moment. Why? Because mentally, emotionally and financially they are all experiencing a level of frustration...and yes our children experience this also. We must all learn how to manage our time. The day is not going to give us any extra hours, minutes or seconds. Sometimes those lunch breaks to eat will have to be substituted for a mental or emotional reset and if you must eat, properly divide the time to allow yourself to be refreshed. Everybody should not walk through the door of their home frustrated about their life. The NEED TO DO lists are our responsibilities, they are not going away.

We must go to work whether it is operating our own business or attending a job - we need money to survive. Pressure can be relieved through proper time management. Frustrations can be avoided if we do mental and emotional resets every few hours within a day. Meditation is very important - this pulls us away from the clutter in our mind and heart. Early in the morning, during your lunch break and while driving home in traffic, turn off the radio, no phone calls or social media, and reset your heart and mind. Here is how this can be done: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." - Philippians 4:8. We don't have to experience daily frustrations if we allow ourselves adequate time to have mental and emotional resets.
